This map and model ​represent my senior ​project at UCF. I analyzed ​six different layers of data ​to determine the most ​optimal area for a new ​Solar Plant in Orange ​County, Florida. For this ​model, I used several ​different analysis tools, ​including clips, buffers, ​vector to raster data ​conversions, cell ​statistics, and more, ​showcasing the extent of ​my GIS skills.

The image on the right ​showcases my ability to ​analyze topological data. ​For this image, I utilized ​ArcScene and ArcMap to ​display the drastic land ​changes that occurred ​due to the Oso mudslide.

This analysis demonstrates my proficiency in performing least ​cost path analysis. Utilizing GIS tools, I calculated the optimal ​routes considering terrain, land cover, and other factors to ​determine the most efficient paths for infrastructure ​development. This analysis showcases my ability to apply spatial ​modeling techniques to real-world scenarios, illustrating my ​advanced skills in GIS analysis and problem-solving.

Similar to my Senior Project displayed at the top of this page, ​this analysis demonstrates my capability in performing siting ​analysis, albeit in a different context. This particular study ​showcases my proficiency in conducting GIS analysis on ​environmental issues, focusing on the diminishing optimal ​habitat areas for animals like the California Gnatcatcher.

This GIS project showcases my skills in ​data integration, spatial analysis, and ​cartographic design by utilizing Florida ​Panther Focus Area data and South ​Florida land development data to ​identify and visualize habitat ​encroachment. Through this project, I ​demonstrate proficiency in GIS ​software tools to address ​environmental conservation issues ​through professional-quality map ​creation.
